Silversea Cruises has four ships, the Silver Cloud, the Silver Wind, the Silver Shadow and the Silver Whisper, all accommodating less than 400 guests. The fleet was expressly designed for the ultra-luxury market, establishing a new class of smaller, intimate vessels that could slip into more exotic ports off the beaten path. Silversea has added its own Expedition Ship, the Prince Albert II, a purpose-built expedition ship unlike any other. Designed specifically for navigating waters in some of the world’s most remote destinations, including both of earth’s polar regions, the 6,072-ton vessel boasts a strengthened hull with a Lloyd’s Register ice-class notation (1A) for passenger ships. DINING OPTIONS
With Silversea’s open seating policy, guests dine at the time they prefer (during normal
open hours) and with the companions of their choice, whether it be an intimate dinner
for two or a grand social event. Evening attire falls into three categories: casual, informal and formal.
WINES AND SPIRITS
With Silversea’s all-inclusive policy, even champagne flows freely. A chilled bottle awaits
guests on arrival in their suite and the next glass is always close at hand. Most beverages, including select fine wines and spirits from around the world, are poured with our compliments throughout the ship — which means our guests never need question who pays for the next round.
